And it's only gotten better since then.
LET'S START WITH 4 MAJOR SAUGERTIES SITES.
Click on 1 of the 4
images immediately below, to get to
the Village Web Site, the Town Web Site, the Saugerties
in Pictures Facebook page or the Saugerties

for example, exceeding 292,000.

The
Sawyer Motors Car Show
and the December Holiday in the Village),

The folks who live
here generally feel like the answer is
"A LOT"!
There's Cantine Field's great baseball, basketball, tennis
courts and spring/summer/fall events, including the late
September/early October Hudson Valley Garlic Festival.
And right next door is the Kiwanis Ice Arena, which is open
3/4th of the year. There's also a skateboard park, bike
routes, a great library, playgrounds for the younger
ones, a popular summer camp, hiking, fishing, camping
and (nearby) skiing. For history buffs, there is the
Kiersted House, which dates back to 1727, and the
American Legion Museum.
The "Plenty for
Kids to Do" page goes into some helpful
detail about the MANY Saugerties area attractions
and events that kids can enjoy.
